Family A Fair was established in 1983, owned by Dale and Celia Smith. It began as a part time concession business during the LA County Fair in Pomona, leasing a building and selling all American food. A year later the building was torn down and Family A Fair built their first mobile concession unit. Soon after, we expanded to 9 locations. Now we were mobile and had up to 14 California fair bookings a year. When our first child was born we decided to stay closer to home and pursued contacts at the Perris Fairgrounds. We attained the Perris Auto Speedway contract for 5 years than the Lake Perris Sports Pavilion and a year later Harrison Hall. We now have been the master concessionaires of the known Southern California Fairgrounds for the past 22 years. Our catering service debuted in 1994. Celia put her hear and soul into the catering end of the business. We've accommodated many special events ranging from 15 to 1800 people. Our events consist of weddings, quinceneras, corporate events , and chamber mixers just to name a few, serving all of Riverside County. We have an employee base of 40 people during the Perris Auto Speedway season and another 50 employees on the LA County Fairgrounds. Family A Fair is also the only mobile food business to serve the famous Pinks Hollywood hot dog from LA, and has 3 mobile units ready for hire. We also have a catering alcohol license, so we are able to provide bar service at any venue. We at Family A Fair take pride in our company and are always eager to please.
